The full story
At Cymer 5 (Take 5), we believe in empowering you to take control of your mental health by addressing the challenges that hold you back. Our approach starts by understanding the unique struggles you face in your daily life, and then guiding you towards the tools and strategies that help you manage these challenges with confidence. Through proven therapeutic interventions, we support you in building the resilience to navigate life’s ups and downs independently. Cymer 5 isn’t just about overcoming obstacles – it’s about teaching you the skills to thrive, handle stress with strength, and embrace your feelings with the courage to say, “It’s okay to feel this way.” Together, we work towards a future where you feel empowered, supported, and capable of managing whatever life throws your way
About me
About Keira Jones, Founder of Cymer 5
Hi, I'm Keira Jones, the founder of Cymer 5, and I’m proud to say that I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Anglesey, where I am fluent in Welsh.

My journey into mental health began with my work as a Royal Navy mental health nurse, where I had the privilege of supporting our service men and women around the world. In addition, I served as a senior lead health and wellbeing practitioner, a role that allowed me to travel, learn, and make a difference on a global scale.
Over the years, my unique approach to mental health care has been recognised through multiple awards and medals.

After seven years of serving in the Navy, I decided to return home to Anglesey, where I felt a deep calling to offer my skills and experience to support the local community. Through Cymer 5, I am dedicated to empowering individuals to face life’s challenges with confidence and resilience, using the knowledge I’ve gained throughout my career to help others thrive.
What makes Cymer 5 different
My passion for mental health comes not only from my academic background but also from personal experience. Having faced depression and anxiety myself, I truly understand what my clients may be going through. This combination of lived experience and professional knowledge allows me to offer empathy and insight in a practical and meaningful way.

I believe in the power of prevention. Just as we brush our teeth daily to avoid dental problems, we can equip ourselves with the tools to maintain good mental health and build resilience. By developing these skills, we can manage daily stresses and protect our well-being for the long term.

Why 'Cymer 5'?
Cymer 5 comes from the Welsh word 'Cymer' which means 'to take', and 5 as in five minutes. We've all experienced busy and stressful periods in our lives. During these times especially, but in day to day life too, it's important that we practice self care by taking 5 minutes to breathe, relax and reset our minds.
A safe non-judgemental space
In-person and online therapy
We offer in-person sessions in Anglesey or we can work with you online too. If you are unsure of which would be most beneficial to you, get in touch to find out more. Initial consultations can be useful for introductions and to find out which service would be best suited to you. To arrange a consultation, fill in the contact form or send us an email.
'We brush our teeth each day to avoid a trip to the dentist. So why don't we do the same for our minds?'
